This morning my phone rang at 5:50 a.m. and after listening to the voicemail, I thought that I would get an extra hour of sleep. Of course, I couldn’t fall back to sleep. I decided to spend time praying and reading the Bible because God obviously knew that I would need the time with Him to see me through my day.
We have a plan and we plan our lives around our school, jobs, family, friends, goals, and dreams. We try to live our lives to make our plans go accordingly but what do we do when there is a change that alters our plan and affects our life as we know it?
Today I was blessed with an opportunity to fully put my faith in Jesus, His ultimate will and plan for MY life. A chance to be able to watch what God will continue to do for us. It doesn’t mean that the process is easy because I am still in shock and experiencing waves of emotions. Through my faith in Him, I know He provides everything from physical needs to spiritual needs. I’m still grieving through the changes but remembering that He removes people, jobs, goals, dreams and anything else that doesn’t belong in your future.
Sometimes we feel like we are being crucified by the world. When we are in our moments and are blinded by the trouble days can bring, we can’t see the future.
He has overcome every trial you will ever face and He has gone before you and prepared the way.
Hold on to your hope and your faith because the creator of this world sent His only Son to die for you so that you may have an abundant life.
Sunday is coming. It always does. We may not know what the future holds but I know the one who does. His will is always the best plan for our life. Even on that day, God knew what He was doing.
Sometimes we have to stand as the waves of life crash around us and have faith that God’s plan is in the works of being revealed to better your life.
And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven. Ecclesiastes 1:13
